They were right in the middle of the Level 2 range. ![]() So I bought a Contour Next One off of Amazon, which came with a control solution so I could test the strips. Plus, the One Touch didn't come with a control solution so I couldn't test the strips. My fasting number was 83 when I had the 3-hour glucose tolerance test, but I kept getting numbers ranging from 95-105 with my One Touch, which would mean I would need overnight insulin. Anyway, my insurance covered the One Touch glucose meter and strips, but I always felt like my numbers, especially my fasting numbers were off. I'm a FTM and I was recently diagnosed with GD and really upset at first, but this forum helped me realize it is definitely not the end of the world. Hi all!
